They release SRO week of, yes?
I meant regular seats if available. I know season ticket holders could buy theirs for all 3 and also purchase extra as well as student tickets. Thought there might be an option for a bundle like that. I suppose it is easier to refund the season holders or give them credit towards next year.
I'm talking about single game Standing Room Only playoff tickets. Do they normally drop the week of the game?

They don't actually charge us for them until there is a game, i.e. we had to request them by the 20th, but my credit card got charged for the game Dec 6th yesterday evening. It will get charged for the game on the 12th/13th as soon as we win the game on the 6th. No refunds to process this way, but then like you mentioned it makes it harder to sell a "bundle" to non season ticket holders.

I went in and renewed and received confirmation for all three rounds of tickets. Today, when I log in, I only see that I’m confirmed for the last two playoff options 12-13 and 12-20 and I don’t see that my card has been charged for 12-6 tickets. I also don’t have any emails or confirmation of tickets. Anybody else got tickets yet? I really don’t love the Ticketswest website.
Called the ticket office on this as well. The Website doesn't show any record of my application for round two either, but she assured me that all is well and the actual electronic tickets will show up in the account on Monday! [-o<

Same here, I do have the confirmation email saying I had ordered the tickets for each of the playoff games should they happen... but when I log into Ticketswest it doesn't show anything. So I called too and the girl said they should be there next week sometime.

There will not be SRO tickets released until the game "sells" out. I don't think we have seen normal SRO type tickets on the past few years.

Interesting. When I log into my account it shows all 3 playoff games in my account. When I click the particular games it says I can download them yet…which is what I expected….but at least I know the reserved tickets are recognized in my account pending notification to download.

Has a date and time been set for the first game vs Yale/YSU?

MSU - 17 team National Champions (most recent 2025); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

So, no chance it’ll be moved to Friday or Saturday night for ESPN?

One complaint about this first round of the playoffs: why do all the games start at 10 and 11? Why not spread it out more for a full day of football? I don’t completely remember what they’ve done in the past, but I prefer maybe 1 or two games at a time instead of literally all of them.

I think they usually move games to Friday and Saturday nights after the first round games are done. Don’t they?

I'm being told that they got rid of Friday night games.

Maybe so….but the current brackets I see show the quarterfinal games being played Dec 12 & 13. I’ll bet the Dec 12 games are night…but we will see….good ole ESPN will probably help decide final schedule and time.

There's still on Friday night game this year. NDSU usually gets it. I say let them have it. College football is played on Saturdays.

Showing pressure on fourth down in overtime. They bring pressure. Lamson throws...Endzone! Caught! TOUCHDOWN!!! Taco Dowler!
And a kick away from a championship.
Here we go. Miles Sansted. Snap, hold, kick, Up, GOOOOD!! FOR A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

The schedule indicates it's subject change, so yes, there is a chance.

Cats played Idaho on Friday night last year. It was also the Friday of commencement on campus so campus was buzzing.

This year, the 12th is commencement so might have a repeat...

We haven't seen opening round games on Friday night. Usually it's quarters and sends.

MSU has played several quarterfinal games on Friday night of commencement week.

ESPN chooses usually one game for ESPN2 broadcast in quarters (Friday) any other Friday games are up to host. MSU has requested Friday in the past when not chosen by ESPN

I think he meant our game against the winner, which is 2:00 eastern on the 6th.
