Re: 2025 Record Watch
I know this isn't compiled but I wonder how many players have completed a pass and caught a TD pass in the same game? Jordan Reed did that yesterday. It's a short list. Mellott did it. I think Kassis might've done it. Reed damn near had a TD as I think Lamson got to the WSU 3.
Reed, btw, is something else. He's 6-6 and I was on the sideline during warmups yesterday and he ran a route right in front of me. The QB threw a ball intentionally high to allow Reed to high point it. Dude. Got. Up. In. The. Air. It was very impressive.

Adam Jones has a great chance to end up as MSU's all-time leading rusher if he plays for all four years.

Did he then throw the tightest spiral you have ever seen?! Haha I just had too! I actually think he made a great choice switching positions and has a ton of potential to be a dude there.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 09, 2025 9:41 amI know this isn't compiled but I wonder how many players have completed a pass and caught a TD pass in the same game? Ty McCullouch threw a TD pass and caught a TD pass against Northern Colorado last season.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 09, 2025 9:41 amI know this isn't compiled but I wonder how many players have completed a pass and caught a TD pass in the same game? Not sure where it is on the all-time list, but Dowler's INT return was the fourth longest in stadium history.

I saw that Lampson has a streak going that hasn’t been replicated in 30yrs of Big Sky Conference play: 6 straight games of throwing for a TD and rushing for a TD in the same game.

Probably all depends on if people continue to kick to him or not. I could see everyone kicking out of bounds to avoid it next year.

Yep. And as only a Sophmore is currently 7th all time in scoring. He has a reasonable chance of getting to #1 all time scoring if things go right…topping Jason Cuingham.

Re: 2025 Record Watch
I remember one of the concerns/topics of discussion about Coach Vigen when he was hired by MSU was that working as OC under Bohl in Wyoming their offense wasn’t known to have a stellar reputation (and yes I do know he coached Josh Allen).
You look at the team season scoring record……all of the seasons Coach has been here rank in the Top 10. 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and now 2025! Yes I know a lot of factors in those numbers like the team personnel, the competition, etc. Just another interesting factoid.
