I'll be there...12 beers deep. ALL BUSINESS.
I'll be there nowhere near 12 beers deep. All Party brewed by MAP

Who brews this beer named BUSINESS and what style of beer is it?

I will be there! Flying in from New York. Close friend of mine associated with Yale, but I also have personal experience coaching as an opponent in Bobcat Stadium during the playoffs, so I’m excited to get back. Where does a neutral party fan tailgate before the game?

"Business" would be a GREAT name for a beer...
Anyhoo, I'm usually on the business end of a Miller Lite, twisted tea and a couple tall Pacificos. Or, whatever's cold and nearby....

well.......we gonna pitch it!

This thread brought up two questions for me:

When does this semester end, student attendance will drop dramatically?

Has anyone ever thought about a decibel meter on the score board? Actual numbers not just a bouncing graphic.
Decibel meter on the scoreboard would be awesome.

I would put money its in the ballroom at the Baxter. Their Saturday morning event is at Ac Hotel, which could be where they blocked rooms.

That’s what I thought after I looked up what was there.

Last year we got 17,017 for our first game against UT Martin. That was UT Martin, they didn't travel too well.

For this year's playoff opener, we might actually see a decent amount of Yale fans travel. Seeing as most Yale Alumni are well off, and this game is the biggest game for them in decades, there will probably be a decent amount of their fans coming out to this game. It's showing seats are basically sold out this weekend, and Yale fans will travel in greater numbers than most second round away opponents of the past. However, due to the weather and not being able to count the workers and staff for this game, I'd say we get an attendance of around 18,000.

The Griz on the other hand is a tough one to predict. They just lost to us, so many of the casuals in their fanbase might be too delfated and unenergized to attend. However, they are playing a DSU school, so there is increased interest there for sure. I'd say they are probably going to get around 19,000

At the end of the day, both Montana Schools will be in the top 3 for attendance this weekend, despite some not so great weather.

Playoff crowds were great last year and grew each round. The other notable thing to me... it's less of a social event than September home games. Some of the best experiences and best crowds, loudest crowds ever are home playoff crowds. Idk if I ever remember a more electric day in that stadium than the sdsu semifinal. The place was engaged and off the hook from start to finish.
That 2021 SDSU playoff game was unreal, when Andersen made that stop on 4th down in the red zone during the 1st quarter, it might have been the loudest I've heard in there, and it set the tone for the rest of the game. I do have to say though, the Seth Brock blocked punt for a TD during Gold Rush this year might have topped the decibel meter for us. That was LOUD!

Our crowds normally know what team we are playing and when the stakes are higher, then us loud ones turn it up a notch to make it one of the best atmospheres in the FCS...
My thoughts exactly. My ears actually physically hurt for a few seconds, and that hadn't ever happened to me before in Bobcat Stadium.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Big Sky? Where anyone can go? That’s for the Cornell peasants. Maybe the Yellowstone Club or the Montage are more Yale’s speed.

The scoop and run that got called back last year against USD in the semifinals was the loudest I’ve ever heard the stadium. I couldn’t hear and I had no idea what happened. I was also a little tipsy.

That was a loud play, but it wasn't blocked, the punter whiffed and Brock picked the ball up and scored.
