William and Mary now have a couple leaving.
A recent 1AA school being hit hard is Appalachian State.
Thanks for the link, oh by the way.

There's a thread in the College Sports tab that has Portal entries of note.

So Nico Brown, who just took us for over 100 yards jumped in today. Love to see the cats go after him. He was a solid player.

Vim is there any one particular position that our staff might look at or is more of the perfect fit guy out there?VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 4:15 pmWhat about his academics though...?Run-the-ball wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 4:09 pmSo Nico Brown, who just took us for over 100 yards jumped in today. Next year's two deep under the current roster looks like this:94VegasCat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 4:21 pmVim is there any one particular position that our staff might look at or is more of the perfect fit guy out there?VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 4:15 pmWhat about his academics though...?Run-the-ball wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 4:09 pmSo Nico Brown, who just took us for over 100 yards jumped in today. QB - Lamson/Duchien
RB - Jones/Coon or White
X WR - Dowler/King
H WR - Woods/Trimble
Z WR - Steel/Reed
TE - Schlepp/Provience or Lencioni
LT - Zimmer/Thornton
LG - Mastel/Rollins
C - Kaplan/Nyland
RG - Fleischmann/Carr
RT - Jefferson/Ezekiel
Bringing in offensive transfers depends on attrition due to graduation or NIL at WR or RB. If Taco and/or Adam leave and with the graduation of Long/King, I'm assuming we'd look for quality depth at RB and starter-level depth at WR. I like our RB room coming up and Coon/White would be a top 4 combo in the Big Sky right now if Jones gets poached but we would need redshirt freshman to step up and I don't know if we have a Jones or Scottre in the next wave coming up. We would definitely need help at WR if we lost Taco as Woods/Steel would become the main duo. Javonte King, Jordan Reed, and Jacob Trimble would become next in line but they haven't stepped up yet in their careers to be reliable starters. Going the Ryan King/Chris Long route will likely happen again. The sneaky one to watch would be on the OL but I like our development program within that group. If Titan or Zimmer were to leave (for hypothetical), Mastel or Rollins can fill holes and Thornton is a Conner Moore level talent coming up at LT.
End - Solano/Vigen or Frederickson
Tackle - Black/Sharbono
Nose - Marsh/Asuega
Rush - Crews/Brock
Will - Daily/Grebe
Mike - Taylor/Ahrens
Nickel - Gray/Dolan or Meredith
SS - Dowler/Petre
FS - Uluilakepa/Meredith or Dolan
CB - McMillan/Williams
CB - Johnson/Carr
Bringing in defensive transfers depends on secondary movement due to NIL and d-line graduation. Solano/Black/Marsh/Crews have played a ton of football along with Sharbono. Seth Brock and Josaiah Asuega are rising stars as freshman so I expect them on the two-deep. Its really the backup to Solano at that DE spot. We've discussed about Vigen/Frederickson making the jump, a position switch from Ryan Krahe or Luvens Valcin, or bringing in drop-down talent to fill the competition. I do expect us to add on the d-line. As for corner, if everyone returns we are in incredible shape. If Dowler gets poached, Colter Petre has steadily improved every year and will be worthy of a starting spot but young safeties like Brendon Ross, Tim Thomas II, Hayden Gunlock, or Luke Oxarart all have the ability. Ife Ohalete was a transfer like Meredith this past January that didn't really find his footing so maybe he gets more run after a developmental year.
Regardless, we have invested a lot into development at nearly every spot on the roster. Its kind of a "yeah we could bring in a transfer but I do like the way this freshman or sophomore has looked so maybe we should give him shot" type of situation. I'd say the priority will look like this for transfers regardless of attrition:
1) WR x2
2) DE
3) Secondary
4) DT
5) RB
All other spots are in great shape.

Re: 2026 Portal Link
Yeah we get hit the hardest on the Dline due to graduation but that 2nd unit and the 3rd unit behind it are darn near ready for primetime already.

Re: 2026 Portal Link
What’s the general thought on portal losses? It’d be naive to think we don’t lose someone, but will it be as bad as last year? Better? Worse?
Really hoping this isn’t the year we see our first MT kid go. But Jones and the Dowlers will certainly have their options. I’d like to think 2 of those 3 being team captains this year and 2 of the 3 are entering their senior year will keep them here next year. We’ll see.
On the O-line Titan I’m sure will have options, but maybe being a senior keeps him around.
Jefferson possibly? Zimmer certainly is on that trajectory but maybe a year off from getting big time options?
On D it has to be the secondary where we are at most risk of losing someone. Dline graduates all the starters so it’ll be a year that everyone else gets a step up in their role.
I’d love to keep them all, but I’ll also be surprised if we do. I’d anticipate a loss or two (or three).
Overall we’re in great position to be loaded next year. If we lose minimal then we’re set. If we lose a lot then we’ll still be good but it may take a bit to gel and figure out just how good (a lot like this year).

What type of back is Breslin? He seems to be an extremely physical dude per his film

Although things can change as the portal progresses, I've heard that the secondary is fairly united and wants to come back for at least one more year.

10 games
71 receptions, 1085 yards, 11 TDs
He was a baller, he proved it this last game. It would be a great get for sure, but I'm almost positive he is hitting the portal for $$$. I wouldn't at all be surprised if a team throws some his way.

Re: 2026 Portal Link
Hopefully when we win the Chipper this year, most of our team will come back to win another.
Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do, but 48-23 may be the best of all.
