Top of 118 or 122 is pretty good. Students often walk to the top of 121 / 119 and pack the top of those sections (assuming the student section if full) so that gets pretty obstructed.

It can be breezy up that high so try for standing in front of the tin signs (Sonny Holland Endzone / Pepsi) as they block the wind a bit.

Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets will be released for sale after all other seats in the stadium have been sold. The SRO area is the grassy area next to section 107 and the cement area between the North Endzone Cabanas and section 108.. Fans may not bring chairs to use in SRO. Blankets are permissible.

There is no SRO areas in the stands!

It is usually shoulder to shoulder with fellow SRO folks. There is about 4 feet of walkway behind the top row of seats. Not recommended for anyone with a heart condition BTW.

Ok. So you are part of the problem. Please stop perpetuating that this is acceptable. You paid for SRO. If want to sit in the bleachers, step up and buy season tickets. I wish MSU Athletics would address this in some manner. I believe they over sell SRO and force people into the stands.

Isn't there kind of a small area at the back that's behind the last row of numbered bleachers though? I never noticed it before until I had seats near the back one time earlier this season.

Right... So it's 'standing' room. It's not reserved for anyone's seating. Not sure why it's necessarily a problem. Not that I've tried it.

The conversation is that it's not a designated standing room space. It's an aisle. Similar to the stairway or an aisle at a concert...the expectation is that it is supposed to stay clear for safety purposes. All that said, it doesn't bother me if anyone stands there....but they may be asked to leave and go to one of the designated SRO spots.

And nothing like it exists in any of the other stands. They should build a deck back there and move the beer garden.

Still leaves me wondering where Buddy Passes are supposed to live though.

It's for ushers, police and emergency personnel to use. I would imagine Buddy passes are part of the student section unless designated otherwise.

Right, but as I and others have said multiple times, while it not be officially designated as n SRO area, there is absolutely nothing wrong with standing up there. You are not infringing on anybody's space whatsoever, and you are not creating any type of hazard in terms of exiting the stadium because of the three foot walkway between you and the top row of seats. Sure I guess the security folks could come and move you but there really isn't any reason to do that.

Just clarifying the buddy pass question. My son is a student so I saw it play out this week. Buddy passes open up when the student ticket don’t sell out. If all student tickets get gobbled up, then buddy passes don’t get sold. For example, I don’t think Gold Rush had any buddy passes sold as that is probably the biggest student demand game. This game had some buddy passes available, since school is out. They sold out in a matter of seconds when opened up Tuesday at noon.

Sheesh. I don't care what kind of ticket you have, if I have room anywhere around my reserved seat I will gladly welcome any 'Cat fan.
