The talk that the “Super Brawl” was the defacto natty was absolutely hubris. The Redbirds are nasty on their defensive front and have a MVFC offensive line. They have some playmakers on offense led by a WR that seriously gives me Cooper Kupp vibes with the way he runs routes and catches the ball. This won’t be a cake walk. These guy went into Fargo and won even though they gave up a punt return for a TD, and int for for a TD and a bunch of other turnovers. Cats should win but these guys deserve respect.

I know a lot of flukes happened. After last year though, I’m not assuming anything in the championship.

Honestly one of the biggest things in the Cats favor is the fact that so many players have been through the Championship Week circus before.

I think they got a little lucky against UCD. They were decimated. Maybe ISU still wins but I think it would have been much closer.

FYI it’s a 6 hour drive from Normal to Nashville so they could bring a some fans. Not as much as the usual teams but more than Nova etc.

A big concern. Contracting a few sports psychologists should be on the list of things to consider for the trip.

Maybe they did. Just because there are upsets in sports doesn’t mean better teams won’t win. I’m sure the griz thought they could beat us at home. We won by 20.

NDSU beat themselves. QB seemed injured as he rarely ran. They played like they had it won then give up 2 TDs in last 4 minutes final because they couldn't run for a first down to clinch. And get strip sacked on 3rd down having to pass.
