This. Rocky is the exact type of TE the NFL is using right now.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 9:48 amRocky and Zimmer are going to end up being NFL caliber players.

Size, strength, speed, almost everything really. Not taking anything away from Rocky, but Ludwig is a much better looking prospect. Whether he develops or not, we will have to wait and see.PapaG wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 9:53 amWhat’s the real difference between Rocky and Matt Ludwig?Maybe blocking?BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 9:48 amRocky and Zimmer are going to end up being NFL caliber players.

I suppose I’m biased because I saw Glacier completely shut down Moose twice last season and also was at the 2023 AA title game where Rocky was the best player on the field against a very good Wolfpack team.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 10:30 amSize, strength, speed, almost everything really. Re: Greatest Play of the Vigen Era?
I was trying to think of plays that would stack up against it since 2002(when I started school):
1. Lulay to Adams to end the streak
2. Smith kick return
3. Orenzo D's touchdown run in the snow.
4. Collin's punching the ball out of Sneed's hand and recovering and the goal line stop.
5. Tommy to Taco to pull to save us in Flagstaff.
This and probably more could be considered better plays but for the moment and what it led to, a NC appearance, it's gotta be right up there with Robert's return.

The main difference is Moose isn’t a TE. He played TE and DE. And will be a DE in college. Glacier shut him down because he's not a good route runner and doesn't have great hands.PapaG wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 10:33 amI suppose I’m biased because I saw Glacier completely shut down Moose twice last season and also was at the 2023 AA title game where Rocky was the best player on the field against a very good Wolfpack team.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 10:30 amSize, strength, speed, almost everything really. I still can’t get over that unbelievable catch! Now if we can get that Lamson to Long connection on the deep ball.ZebraCat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 9:58 amThis. Michigan recruited him as a TE. Pretty sure Texas Tech did, too.ZebraCat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 10:48 amThe main difference is Moose isn’t a TE. He played TE and DE. And will be a DE in college. As has been stated here a couple of times, Rausch tries hard…D-Wreck wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 9:45 amEvery. Single. Time. Montana isn't populated enough to have as many NFL caliber football players come out of it the past few years. The reason for this is Brent Vigen, and perhaps some Jeff Choate.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 9:48 amRocky and Zimmer are going to end up being NFL caliber players.
