Some people are a lot like slinkies....... Not really good for much, but it puts a smile on your face to watch them fall down a set of stairs.

I never dreamed I would not be ecstatic if we won. And I am thrilled for Taco and Justin. Dream ending for them. And I know over time I won't care how we won-- just that we won.

That having been said-.. . . . Much as I love Vigen and think he is incredible, we were totally outcoached, particularly in the 2nd half. There was absolutely no excuse for all of the procedure penalties. That's on Sterbick and it's just totally and completely inexcusable. Plus the end of game where we almost fumbled it away.

So we got the W. And that's what is more important by far. But not really the way I wanted to do it.

Congratulations to the team for a great *SEASON* of effort. They should be very proud even if we didn't put our best foot forward tonight.

That was amazing. We have to remember that we came up against a team that was hot and playing out of their heads. To pull this out was spectacular.

Still trying to bring my heart rate down. What a game!!! We played sloppy in phases but a W is a W. That was a hell of a redbird team. We should be so proud of this accomplishment!!

Sloppy second half. I don't understand why we never blitzed to try and get Rittenhouse off time. Doesn't matter, National Champs!

Best win is a 3+ possession blowout. Next best is any other kind

This is where I’m at. A championship is a championship. But they clearly can do better. Which… I believe they can learn from

The only thing that matters is the score. Stats are for losers.

Agree, but would have liked to see something to get him uncomfortable. ISU is a hell of a team.and extremely well coached. Doesn't matter Cats are NATIONAL CHAMPS!!!

If your main takeaway from winning a national championship is “we need to do better,” you’re doing it wrong.
