Yeah, I heard they aren't good at the 3... but they must be like 6 for 9..... The Brick has wide buckets.

Re: MBB vs. Weebs
Davian Brown helped off the floor. Hurt his leg. Doesn't look good. No Davis, now no Brown. We could be in big trouble here.

Feel good about this game. Cats didn’t play particularly well and bbq shot way better than typically do.
Feel bad about Brown. That didn’t look good.

While I always prefer a "whoop-down," it's good to see the Cats close out a game like this.

Re: MBB vs. Weebs
Geez this team...blow a 13 point lead in about a minute. Somehow get the lead back when McMahon of all people actually finishes an and-one (something he rarely does), we do the foul them up three routine, but foul with way too much time on the clock, Miller misses the front end of the one and one and gets his own rebound when we didn't have anyone else in the key-Weber's gonna be really kicking themselves over that one.
Getting the win despite losing our hottest player is great! Getting the win the way we did-is just mind boggling.

Great win after adversity. Logie will have the team dialed in for the next game.

I really like this team, but the injuries are really starting to pile up. It is very difficult to withstand all the injuries we have.

Holden, Mbatch, Davis, Brown all out...and they still found a way to get it done. I won't complain that maybe it could have been less stressful, super impressive what the guys are doing out there playing as shorthanded as they are. Go Cats!!!

Re: MBB vs. Weebs
I'd call that a deep gut check win by a very injury plagued team.
Sure it would be nice if our team built a lead and kept it or expanded it to the end of the game.
Runs can happen for both teams especially when they are evenly matched like many teams are in the BSC this year.
As experienced as most of you are I would think you'd all be aware of that and expect that it could happen.
Everyone does realize that both teams are trying their best to win the game, right?
It took over 4 minutes for the Bobcats to build their lead and over 5 for Weber to whittle it back down.
With 12:44 left in the game the Bobcats were up by one point. 54 - 53
With 8:18 left in the game they were up by their largest lead of 14 points 74 - 60
(So it took them 4:26 to get the lead up to 14. In that time span the Bobcats scored 20 and Weber scored 7)
With 2:56 left in the game the lead was back down to one point. 80 - 79
(So it took 5:22 for Weber to fight back and get the lead down to one point)
(In that time span the Bobcats scored 6 and Weber scored 19)
Like it or not momentum shifts happen in Basketball. Each team had a run in the game, MSU first followed by WSU.
For the bulk of that game neither team had a lead greater than 4 points, with MSU leading most of the game.
I'm very proud of our players and coaches for finding a way to win that game with so many injured players on the bench.

Re: MBB vs. Weebs
Coach Logie was visibly emotional in his postgame radio interview last night, it has to be very rewarding for the team to fight through all this adversity and still win but at some point all these injuries are bound to take a toll. Jed Miller is doing all he can to be this year's Robert Ford.saintcat40 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 24, 2026 9:30 pmI really like this team, but the injuries are really starting to pile up.
